Body of Work by Roos van de Kieft

Article collected from WE AND THE COLOR. Visit source.

Roos van de Kieft has graduated from the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague. She currently studies Fashion Photography at UAL, London College of Fashion. Her series ‘Body of Work’ was made as a reaction to today’s digitized image culture, a social and cultural trend that causes us to become passive observers. With ‘Body of Work’, Roos van de Kieft wants to explore the relationship between space and different ways of photographic representation. Her images become physical object that interact with the surrounding space. The series was on display at 71A Gallery, London in June 2016 as part of the Blurred Borders exhibition. By moving around, viewers were able to experience each image from different angles. Feel free and read more below the first image.
